Return on Investment (ROI) - Glossary Term

Return on investment is a clear measure of business viability. It is calculated by dividing the profit cleared by a company, by the total funds that have been invested in that company’s assets over any given period. The greater the profit is, compared to the total funds invested in the business enterprise, the higher the ROI will be.
