Formed in the 1950’s Todd Research’s core activity is explosive detection. In the 1970’s Todd Research had the first commercial available X-ray equipment.

The company has grown and now employees 17 members located in Chelmsford, UK. Employees are trained to advise organisations and individuals concerning potential threats such as terrorism. Todd research also has a network of engineers who offer training to install and maintain the technology and systems provided by Todd Research.
