IET, incorporated in 1981, consists of a small group of people highly motivated to use their skills to provide their customers with quality product in an efficient and friendly manner.
IET was originally established as a design house to incorporate electronics into a variety of products and was a consultant in a Government sponsored technology design group. The company has also designed a variety of access control products for other companies and their product is manufactured under licence by a major company in the UK.
IET's access control products and supporting software are all designed and manufactured in house at their premises and head office in Hertfordshire. The company has its own technical support personnel to aid and instruct the new installer and offers a free training facility as well. The only product not designed in house are the various reader technologies other than the standard magnetic stripe reader.
Of course, all the product conforms to the relevant standards required by UK law and all product is year 2000 compliant as defined by the British Standards Institute. All product is designed with the installer and end user in mind and offers reliability together with ease of programming and use.
Our product may be demonstrated by our sales and support teams either in house or on site and all networking systems may be used with readers from the majority of available technologies. It is possible, by arrangement, to enable potential end users to view a large site / multi-sited development prior to decisions about their own installation.
