The Association, formed in 1986, is the professional body for the Relocation and Homesearch industry in the UK. Its members must abide by the Rules of Conduct and hold Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance. A professional qualification is currently being devised. The Council is empowered to discipline members who do not conform to the regulations.

Homesearch Relocation Agents

Membership includes Homesearch Relocation Agents (sole traders, partnerships and national organisations), Relocation Management companies and Business Relocation specialists.

Membership categories include Full, Associate and Affiliate.

Relocation Agent Training

The ARA promotes the industry and its members, holds training and educational seminars, biannual conferences and annual regional meetings, has an Arbitration service and liases closely with other professional organisations in the UK and overseas.
