ACAL Microsystems and Audio Codes are partnering to provide the TP-12610 Software Development Kit (SDK) for it’s customers.
The TP-12610 SDK is an evaluation system that enables developers a quick start in AdvancedTCA based platforms leveraging on AudioCodes proven technology. The SDK is an interim ATCA development platform to be used by application developers as a bridging phase to the higher density ATCA blade.
By using the same API as in the final ATCA blade, developers can reduce their development time and risk significantly. The SDK is enabling development of the next generation VoIP and media applications such as media gateways and feature rich media servers.

As technology is dynamic - new editions, improvements and innovative designs are continuously being created. Following the interim SDK, the TP-12610 ATCA blade is scheduled to be issued at the beginning of 2007. The TP12610 blade is a PICMG 3.0 compliant Media Gateway and media processing blade and is ideal for deploying advanced high density, high availability Voice over Packet (VoP) systems.
Accompanying a high capacity of 4000 voice channels on a single blade, the TP-12610 will enable IMS ready video capabilities to provide streaming, recording and conferencing which support H.263, H.264 and MPEG coders.
Combining the ATCA integrated management and provisioning features and AudioCodes VoIP media gateway expertise, the Tp-12610 is an ideal building block for cost effective carrier grade VoIP solutions.
