Remploy Electronics has promoted John Baker to the position of business development manager.
He has been with Remploy for six years, most recently as key accounts manager. In his new role Baker will lead Remploy's ambitious growth plans that aim to double turnover in 2007.
Prior to Remploy, Baker spent five years with Roxboro Electronics as sales manager. Before that he held a sales role with Diamond H Controls in Norwich. Baker began his career as an avionics engineer with British Aerospace before moving into sales.
Speaking about the appointment, Rick Cook, Remploy Electronics' general manager, said: "John has been instrumental in Remploy Electronics' success since it was established as a separate entity within the Remploy group. He is perfectly placed to spearhead our drive for 100% growth in 2007."
