Newly available from ACAL Microsystems is the Ampro XTX830, a high performance plug compatible solution ETX® baseboard to enable the adoption of new technology without the need for major redesign.
The ETX830 is a small, ultra high performance board which uses the Intel 2.0 GHz Core™ Duo processor ('Yonah'), up to 2MB level 2 cache and takes DDR2 SODIMM RAM up to 2GB. The module also contains (6) USB 2.0 ports, IDE (Parallel ATA) as well as Serial ATA interfaces to cover both legacy and high-speed disk drives.
The board also has four PCI Express lanes for up to 10 Gigabit per second in both transmit and receive directions, supports up to 2 ExpressCards (uses 2 x USB and 2 x PCI Express), 10/100 Megabit Ethernet, 32/33 PCI bus expansion, ACPI 2.0 support including S3 Suspend-to-RAM. The EIDE is a single PCI-bus enhanced Ultra DMA 66/100 synchronous IDE interface supporting up to two hard drives.
The latest high-performance embedded Intel 950 GMA graphics engine with CRT and LVDS LCD interfaces are also incorporated supporting resolutions up to 2048 x 1536 with up to 224MB DVMT Frame Buffer. The operating system supports Windows® CE 5.0, XP and XPe plus Linux2.6. All this and the board is RoHS compliant.
